I'm a suicide survivor. I'm a victim of suicide.  I've been to that jumping off place and jumped. I've lost close friends to suicide. I've seen the devastation it causes. I know more than I would ever wish to know about suicide.

I'm not an expert on it. I'm just a veteran of it. It's a war and like all wars it has victims, and survivors. Like a war there are no winners or losers. I've been where you are now on many many many occasions. I've tried to end my life on numerous occasions. I have fought with the desire to murder myself almost everyday of my life for as long as I can remember.

BUT I NO LONGER FEEL THIS WAY......and one day if you give yourself the chance, you may not either!!

You may not be able to see it right now but someone loves you and cares about you and the world will be a poorer place without you.  I've lost a dear friend to suicide and the devastation I felt & still feel and his parents and brothers and wife feel is indescribable.
